Your holiday package starts from your arrival at Cohin International airport/ Railway Station. We receive you from the airport, then start your journey to Munnar and check into the Misty mountain Resort by 12.00 noon. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities ), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hilarious) - the mountain goat of South India & Tea Musium. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
Reach the trekking start point lakshmi hills by 8.30 AM. The trek will start at the height of 1420 meters, we will start our trek through the tea plantations for about 30 to 40 minutes. Then we will reach the ridge of the hill and rest of our couple of hours trek will be on the ridge which offers beautiful views around. It will be through grasslands, one side will be rocky mountain slope and the other side will be tea plantations, patches of Shola forest . If the sky is clear we could see the Anaimudi "highest peak in South India" and the reservoir of Idukki Dam which is it is one of the highest arch dams in Asia. We will have refreshment/picnic lunch at any suitable place during the trek, and after we will be passing through Nature Zone where we can enjoy the natural beauty.
After the breakfast start your return journy to Cochin
